What Differentiates Me

There are many professional photographers who say they also photograph pets but don't have much experience doing so.  At Candid Canine Pet Photography photographing pets is what I do! With four years of experience photographing pets and a true love for animals, I provide a comfortable and rewarding pet photography experience that gets you the high quality photographs you desire, without the high price!

introduction

Tanya Richens.  I have always been in the company of dogs growing up.  It came natural to me, to take my love for photography into the dog world and start my own pet photography business.  I've met many awesome pets and people over the last four years and am looking forward to meeting many more!  The best part of it all is making people happy with great photographs of their beloved pets!

I currently work full-time at Alberta Environment as a Reclamation Approvals Coordinator.  My work is specific to the oil sands mines in Fort McMurray, so it keeps me busy.  My pet photography business is an evening and weekend venture, so I definitely stay out of trouble!

My fiancé Drew and I moved to Edmonton from Kamloops, British Columbia in early 2001.  In July 2002 Riley, our blenheim colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, came into our lives.   In December 2007 Reuben joined the family.  He's a ruby colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  The boys are  the best thing that have happened to us and are the sunshine in our lives!

At Candid Canine Pet Photography I strive to give you the best photographs I can.  I offer a 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.  If you are not happy with the quality of your photographs I will replace them.  If you are not happy with the photography session, I will provide you with another, free of charge.

I want you and your pet to enjoy this experience, so I will do my best to ensure you and your pet are comfortable at all times.

Note: I reserve the right to stop a photography session at any time if a pet is uncomfortable due to stress or illness.  It is my philosophy that no pet should feel undue stress or pain because we would like a better photo.
